The Surprising Uses of Hydrangea
Monday, November 23rd, 2009
Hydrangea is a gorgeous, bright flower — but that is not all. It can do more than make your garden lovely. Recently conducted research suggests that this flower can also act as a very potent drug, one which may have the ability to treat several common illnesses and diseases.
According to these findings, there is a drug located in the shrub’s root which can be extracted and used to treat problems like multiple sclerosis, psoriasis, arthritis, and even some types of diabetes.
Further, the drug may be beneficial in battling illnesses and diseases that are caused by an attack on the body’s immune system.
If this turns out to be true, and if it can be made into a viable treatment option, then many doors will open up to the possibility of treating debilitating diseases in a natural and ultimately safer way.
